Word is the new Rolls-Royce Sweptail has a $13 million price tag that makes it officially the world's most expensive car.

During the competiton of elegance of Villa d'Este near Milan, Italy, the british firm Rolls-Royce has unveiled a unique model: the Sweptail. This creation has been imaginated and produced following a customer request. The vehicle is a mix between the Phantom Coupe and a concept car created to honor the classic cars of the 1920s.

However, this unique model has a cost. Apparently, this "special" Rolls would have costed around 12.8 millions of dollars to its wealthy owner. This huge price tag makes it the world's most expensive new car by far. It easily exceeds, in fact, the $4.8 million list price of the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita or the $4.5 million of the Lamborghini Veneno.

The buyer's identity has, so far, remained secret.
